Choral Connection, together with two local choirs, will present a program featuring contemporary arrangements of well-known Christmas carols and spirituals. Highlights include Gustav Holst’s “Christmas Day,” a choral fantasy on old carols; the gospel spiritual “Go Where I Send Thee,” arranged by Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory; and Eric Whitacre’s “Sing Gently,” written in 2020 for a pandemic virtual choir of thousands around the world.
No tickets are required, but donations will be gladly accepted at the event. More details are on the poster that accompanies this announcement.
Founded by Mark Webb in 2022, Choral Connection is a mixed chamber choir (SATB) drawn from top singers in other West Michigan choirs. It strives for choral excellence in music that speaks to the heart.
