The Chamber Choir of Grand Rapids, together with three choirs from Caledonia High School, will offer a concert of contemporary and traditional pieces presenting nature and music as grand unifiers and inspirations of human effort.
Each choir will sing two choral selections. And all choirs will combine to perform Ola Gjeilo’s “Song of the Universal” (with text by Walt Whitman) and a world premiere of local composer Mark Ramsey’s “Tower in the Sky” (with text by Khalil Gibran). Other composers on the program include Elaine Hagenberg, Palestrina, and Brahms.
The concert takes place in the fine arts center at Caledonia High School. You can order tickets on the Chamber Choir’s website or by using the QR code on our concert poster.
